Clerk Engagement Toolkit (version 3.0)

Version 2.0 includes the following new materials and resources:

  1. Prop 22-2 Enabling Legislative Summary
  2. 2024 Clerk Engagement (Version 3.0) Meeting Outline & Worksheet
  3. Updated Clerk Engagement Meeting Submission Form

The Clerk Engagement Toolkit webpage is a comprehensive resource for volunteers engaging their local clerks in 2024. This webpage is divided into several sections, each offering valuable resources to help you ensure the successful implementation of Proposal 22-2 through productive engagement with your local clerk.

We highly encourage volunteers to familiarize themselves with the official language of Proposal 22-2 before conducting a meeting with your local clerk. The About Prop 22-2 section features a summary of key provisions, a full-text copy of the amendment language, and an access link to a recent policy language training hosted by our organization.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at info@votersedfund.com

Event Resources:

We will be offering two types of volunteer-led events in 2024. Our organization has developed a presentation slide deck for hosting in-person and virtual training and learning events. VNPEF is especially interested in providing presentations to organizations and local groups you are affiliated with or have worked with in the past. We will also be supporting volunteers who would like to table at fairs and festivals across Michigan to educate the public at large of their new voting rights thanks to Proposal 22-2.

  • Event Request Form
  • Presentation Slide deck : A copy of the slide deck may be made available at the discretion of VNPEF staff for the express purpose of hosting VNPEF-sponsored presentations. To do so, please submit a request via email to info@votersedfund.com
